Old system cane, steel dagger signed House Coulaux & Cie * mounted in a head bone (beef) carved and twisted, metal tips with a chiseled monogrammed, even bamboo, end of XIXth -early twentieth century.
This rod is in good condition.

From 1801 to 1836, Jacques and Julien Coulaux successively to the direction of Imperial Manufacture of knives and the Manufacture Royale de Klingenthal. In 1838, the Manufacture Royale is redeemed. Julien Coulaux sold the company to his son. The company became Coulaux Elder & Co. In 1840, Charles-Louis Coulaux becomes the owner and manager of the Molsheim plant, Gresswiller, Mutzig and Klingenthal. The company then called Coulaux & Co. From 1887 to 1925, is the son of Charles-Louis Coulaux who heads the company Coulaix & Cie SA.
