Table in charcoal, pastel or gouache depicting barges moored beside a trail Hallage with boatmen walking there, certainly along the Oise and Seine, signed E.Febvre * vintage twentieth century.

This table is in good condition. It is signed lower left. It is under glass.
A report: wear tiny frame.

* Edward Febvre (1885-1967):

Active in the twentieth century. The painter gypsies, suburbs sad, fortifications and suburban streets in the snow fairgrounds. He painted many scenes of Montmartre, then left Paris to Nantes. At the Salon d'Automne of 1941, he exhibited a painting entitled "Snow Effect". (Referenced in the artist Bénézit)
