Very nice little vase * glass paste signed Gallé **, decorated cleared the grape cluster acid and grape leaves, vintage Art Nouveau late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
This vase is in good condition. It is signed on the side.
A note: tiny micro-bursts in the ass (almost invisible) light soiling, a few small scratches and wear of time, see photos.

* Molten glass: glass treatment known since ancient times (Pliny), rediscovered by H.Cros 1880, which sought fusible material workable in paste or liquid state. This is a colored crystal, previously pulverized and mixed with water, added with a binder to compose a paste; thereof after cooking becomes hard and translucent to then be modeled as a sculpture and colored. glass paste is true otient by amalgamating cold glasses and enamels crushed. The paste is then molded and subjected to baking in a lost wax mold; under the effect of heat agglomerate the components. (Larousse antiques and flea market).
* Emile Gallé (1846-1904) is an industrial, master glassmaker, cabinetmaker and French ceramist. He is founder and first president of the School of Nancy in 1901. Child Art and commerce, it is one of the most influential figures of the applied arts in his time and one of the pioneers of Art new.
