began to exhibit regularly in 1867 at the Salon of French artists, until 1883. DUBUCAND was a pupil of Barye and Rouillard well as Lequien. He won a medal in 1879 for his "Persian cheetah hunter." It is essentially animal sculptor, inspired largely Orientalist. (See Bénézit)
