Rare oil on panel depicting the portrait of King Louis XVI of France, carrying his coat on the Medal of the Order of the Holy Spirit and the Medal of the Royal and Military Order of St. Louis, dated 1789, in a stuccoed wooden oval, antique eighteenth century.
This oil is in good condition. It is not signed but has a label on the back which is marked "Original Portrait of Louis XVI made ??in 1789". The frame is in good condition, it is not original.
A note: several accidents and miss on the frame (we avon sun piece detached from the right side), little lack of paint, see red arrow (we take care of the restoration for an additional charge).
