This watch is in very good condition, it works. The chain sold with is probably not original (chain weight: 7.72 grams). She is punched (a little worn: horse head?). Gross weight of 48.58 grams shows.

At 22, Georges Favre-Jacot set up his account as a watchmaker in Le Locle. He was the first to found a real factory, in 1865. Ten years later, the company employs a third of the active population of Le Locle. In 1899, Georges Favre-Jacot presents its first pocket chronograph and won various awards, including first prize at the Paris. In 1911, Georges Favre-Jacot cedes management of the factory to his descendants, who christened Zenith name of the highest point of the trajectory of a star in the sky. In 1920, Zenith launched its first wristwatches, continues its development in 1960 to buy the Martel Watch Co. Over the years, Zenith will sign a number of innovations.
