Superb and rare pair of armchairs carved walnut decorated with two Breton characters: a man playing music and a woman to the spindle, as well as flowers and foliage, trim tapestry dots decorated with crests and coat of arms town of Vannes and Quimper and characters wearing Breton costumes, XIXth century.
These chairs are in good condition, they are of outstanding quality. They are fully pegged.
A note: the underside of a chair to be renewed, one armrest is off, the wallpaper will clean infiles wormholes, wear and scratches from use, see photos.
