Exceptional and very rare pair of Louis XV armchairs carved walnut, stamp cabinetmaker J.Nadal Elder *, elegantly molded and sculpted flowers and stylized shells, armrests for support and arm cavet boost, front legs arched XVIIIth century.

These shepherds are in good condition, they are in their juice. They are of outstanding quality. Stamp of the cabinetmaker visible under a chair.

A note: the packing (most recent) is damaged, they will be retapisser, wear and scratches on the wood of the time, they will be to review, see photos.

* Nadal Jean-René (the Elder)

(Born in 1733, a master in 1756) eldest son of John nadal, he took over the workshop rue de Clery and settled in the same street with the sign of the "Silver Lion". It terminates its activity in the early 1780s he worked for the Crown and for the Count of Artois which it provides seats and beds.
