Book entitled "Atlas of ancient geography, medieval and modern" by Felix Delamarche * (adopted by the Royal Council of Public Instruction, for use by the Royal Colleges and Houses of Education), Paris, 1831 of XIXth century.
This atlas is in good condition, it is in its own juice and suffered the uses of time. The pages are annotated in gray pencil.
A note: the paper is yellowed and stained in places, a few small tears, cover is worn (some missing), it lacks Map No. 12 (Helvetic Republic) see photos.
* Felix Delamarche was a French geographer, born in the late eighteenth century and died in the mid nineteenth century. He took after his father, Charles François Delamarche which in 1786 had acquired the fund of Didier Robert de Vaugondy. Felix Delamarche became head of the publishing geographical family on the death of Charles François Delamarche in 1811. The editorial activity continued throughout the nineteenth century with Charles Dien.
