Lacquered round box and setting in 18 carat solid gold (eagle's head punch and small ram's guarantee stamp 1819-1838), lid decorated with a hand-painted miniature depicting the portrait of an elegant young woman, vintage first half nineteenth century.
This box is in good condition. The top of the thumbnail has been changed later. The inside of the box is in noble material.
A note: the miniature is quite damaged (cracks, stains and lack of paint), the frame on top is a little deformed, slight accidents and traces of glue on the side of the box, wear of time, b ien to look at the photos (see red arrows).
