* The house Marret and Jarry Frères was born after the dissolution of the company Marret Jarry and Gaime. It is officially created on October 11, 1851, under the name of Company for trade of jewelery and jeweler Marret and Jarry (Brothers) with, for object, the manufacture and sale of jeweler's jewelery and silversmithing. Its head office is then at 16, rue Vivienne. It results from the association of three people: Hippolyte Marret (1804-1883) and his two brothers-in-law Eugène Jarry (1818-1883) and Gustave Jarry (1821- ??). The house Marret and Jarry brothers only existed for seven years, ending its activities in 1858. Two nephews of Hippolyte Marret - Ernest Marret (1835-1911) and Alfred Marret (1835-1876) - then enter the house and she becomes the Marret Society, Jarry brothers and nephew Marret.
