Rare little fly box, solid silver frame, decorated with miniatures painted on all sides, that of the lid painted after Boucher depicting a pastoral gallant scene; on the sides of the beautiful countryside with bridges and rivers; below, cherubs near a fountain, eighteenth century.
This box is in good condition and is of exceptional quality. No punches on the mount. Pastoral scene painting by Boucher (1703-1770) is kept in the Louvre Museum.
A note: missing the inner ice cover back, some small traces of oxidation (green gray) inside, slight wear on the front miniature (landscape), micro small shocks and wear on the frame, see photos .
