Large box with shawls in rosewood and marquetry of rosewood and veneer, decorated with a medallion of a bouquet of flowers in a basket on the lid and a butterfly in a floral wreath on the front, brass threads gilded around the medallions and on the sides, from Napoleon III XIXth century.
This box is in good condition, high quality. We have the key, the lock works (a little hard).
A note: some small cracks and scratches on the wood, small lack of brass on one side, the wood is slightly passed at the back at the bottom, tiny little accidents and wear of time, see photos.
