Small box forming Louis XV inkwell in finely chiseled gilded bronze, with rich rococo decoration of two women seated on the lid, on the sides several naked women or naiads (one playing the triangle, the one in the center eating grapes, the one on the right seated near a fire pot), closure in the shape of an animal or grotesque, feet surmounted by angel heads, from the 18th century.
This box is in good condition. Great finesse in the decorations.
A note: it closes poorly, some dirt, scratches and wear of time, see photos.
