Wax case in solid 18-carat gold (in colors known as Trois Ors) finely chiseled decorated with beautiful floral garlands surrounding flower baskets and baluster vases, stylized plant friezes on the edge, hallmarked see photos, vintage late 18th-early 19th centuries. Weight 30.94 grams.
This case is in good condition. It is hallmarked see photos. The hallmarks are worn and hard to read but the title hallmark is very likely the “Coq à Droite” (becquetant) hallmark in solid gold of the 3rd grade at 750 thousandths or 18 carats from 1798 to 1809.
Please note: tiny little shocks, micro-scratches and slight wear over time, see photos.
