Small rectangular box attributed to Eileen Gray *, resin (or bakelite) comes from Louise Dany succession, Eileen Gray governess (rue Bonaparte, Paris), vintage twentieth century.

This box is in good condition.

A note: accident and lack the clasp, accident (hole) on top, worn hinge shine in a back corner, scratches and wear of time, see photos.

* Eileen Gray (1878-1976)

is a designer and architect Irish. She is best known for incorporating luxurious lacquered finishes on aesthetic Art Deco furniture and then evolved into the structure in tubular steel furniture International Style in the 1920s in the architectural field, it is famous for having created the Villa E-1027 with Jean Badovici, free interpretation of modernist architecture. Having been largely forgotten by the architectural body for years, it has experienced a surge in popularity at the end of his life. Today it is part of the "Pantheon" of architects and designers who have marked this discipline their mark.
