Small box or cut crystal box (certainly Creusot * or Baccarat), gilt bronze mounts and brass decorated with a vegetal frieze carved escutcheon of two cornucopias, feuillagée rose above known role, d time Charles X nineteenth century.
This box is in good condition. We do not have his key.

In 1787, the State Council of the King decides to transfer the Manufacture crystals of the Queen of Sèvres in Montcenis. Built on the plans of Barthélémy Jeanson, the buildings house shops, offices, housing administrators and workers as well as ovens, installed in two conical halls. Until it was purchased in 1832 by the institutions of St. Louis and Baccarat, the crystal has been a great influence. Eugene Schneider, became manager forges and workshops Creusot, bought the buildings of the former glassworks he completed his residency. The castle of glassware, historical monument, is owned by the city of Le Creusot.
