Large bronze sculpture (green and bronze patina) signed T. Cartier * representing a deer fight, vintage early twentieth century.
This sculpture is in good condition. Signed on the base.

Formed by an animal owner, George Gardet, he has a predilection for hunting dogs, terriers, wolves, but also sculpts big cats, deer fighters, birds of prey. He worked at La Ruche and exhibited at the beginning of the 20th century at the Salon des artistes français as well as the Salon d'Automne. (Excerpt Bronzes of the nineteenth century by P.
