Bronze patina bronze sculpture depicting a panther charmer: the naked woman holds in her left hand a stick on which is wound a snake and waving a bay branch on the other in the nose of two young panthers roaring at her feet, she sits on a marble column of Siena, signed Ch. Lévy, XIXth century.
This sculpture is in good condition and is of high quality. Signed on the drape of the woman and David underneath (perhaps the name of the bronzier).
A note: the marble is dirty on the base and will be cleaned, some tiny chips on the edge of the marble, some ususres on the patina of bronze, see photos.
