Small brown patina bronze sculpture representing the death mask of the Emperor Napoleon I, according to the official model of the doctor F. Antommarchi *, on a black marble base, XIXth century.
This mask is in good condition. Trace signature (initials) at the top of the head (I. G or LG?)

* The death mask of Napoleon I is the imprint of the face of the emperor taken shortly after his death in 1821 and cast plaster. The official mask is the "Antommarchi mask". One of the first copies of the mask is on display at the Musée de l'Armée de Paris.
