animal sculptor (Ec fr). Student of Cornoléra; he made his debut at the Salon of 1855. He obtained an honorable mention in 1859 and will be present at the Universal Exhibition of 1878. The Château de Compiègne keeps a "Pointing dog with pheasant" from him. (Extract Bénézit) He exhibited regularly at the Salon from 1859 to 1892 and enjoyed great success not only in France but also abroad. (Referenced Les Bronzes du XIXème by P. Kjellberg).
