* The New Sacristy (Sagrestia Nuova) designed by Michelangelo (1475-1564) in the 16th century inside the Medici Chapels is one of the architectural elements of the Basilica of San Lorenzo in Florence. It includes the "Medici tombs", including the tomb of Lorenzo, Duke of Urbino, surmounted by a statue of Lorenzo sitting in thought, his elbow resting on a bat.
