Bronze sculpture with a brown-gold patina representing the bust of Queen Marie-Antoinette, around her neck a medallion with the effigy of Louis XVI, draped in the royal mantle embroidered with fleurs-de-lys, wearing an elegant headdress decorated with flowers, after the original bust by Félix Lecomte (1737-1817), signed Raux, mounted on a marble base, from the late 19th century.

This bust is in good condition and is of remarkable quality. Made from an original marble by Lecomte kept at the Château de Versailles and presented at the Salon of 1793.

Please note: some micro-chips on the edge of the marble, light scratches and wear from time, see photos.
