Very nice medal or bronze bas-relief plaque brown patina (and red), representing the profile Marat * The Friend of the People "engraved" Not being able to bribe they murdered him "with the emblem Freemason, XIXth century.

This medal is in good condition.

A note: slight wear to the patina of time wear, see photos.

* Jean-Paul Marat (1743-1793) was a physician, physicist, French journalist and politician. He was a member of the Convention mountain to the Revolution. His assassination by Charlotte Corday allowed the Hébertists to make a martyr of the revolution and install a few months his remains to the Pantheon.
