Superb and rare silver bronze sculpture representing Saint Christopher holding the child on her shoulder, signed H.Fugère, white marble base, vintage late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
This sculpture is in good condition. It is signed on the base.
A note: the feet of the Saint were broken and resoudés tin, wear time, see pictures.
son of the sculptor Léon Fugère, student Cavelier, he exhibited in 1893 medallions, busts and statuettes mostly, mostly in bronze and plaster statuettes.
