born in Spain. This artist, sometimes confused with José Clara probably his brother, as the latter, exposed from 1903 to the National Society of Fine Arts. Student of Barrias, it seems to have specialized in small statuettes and anecdotal groups of young children. (From "Les Bronzes of the nineteenth century" by P. Kjellberg)
Artist on ArtPrice good side.
