Exceptional and rare bronze sculpture with two patinas (gold and brown) representing a crouching Venus near a vase or amphora ancient model after Praxiteles (taken by Antoine Coysevox Versailles), base decorated with a cherub holding a torch and sailing a boat made of a quiver and arrows, blackened wooden base, antique Executive late eighteenth century.
This sculpture is in good condition and is of remarkable quality. It has its blackened wooden base.
A note: the upper elements (Venus) move a little, right arm is a little off level had her bracelet, light wear time of gilding, some scratches on the wooden base, wear of time, although watching photos.
