Brown patina bronze sculpture of the famous racehorse Ourasi *, ** and signed Jean Clagett stamp founder Valsuani ***, dated and numbered 89 7/8, vintage twentieth century.

This sculpture is in very good condition. It is signed "Ourasi OMR 89". This bronze was purchased by the family of jockey Gougeon, winner three times the price of America with this horse.

* Ourasi:

nicknamed "The king lazy" is a dark chestnut trotter French born April 7, 1980 and died on 12 January 2013, four-time winner of the Prix d'Amérique. It was voted best French trotter of all time by the newspaper L'Equipe in 2006. His coolness and nonchalance track are legendary and have given it a very special charisma, making him the most popular of the trotter of the racing history. Four times winner of the Prix d'Amérique (three times with the jockey Jean-René Gougeon, one last time with his brother Michel-Marcel).

today renamed AIRAINDOR Valsuani or Chevreuse Foundry, is a French art bronze foundry, located in Holzkirchen. The Valsuani Foundry was created in 1899 by Claude Chatillon Valsuani.
