Rare pair of candlesticks or candlesticks in finely chiseled Russian silver, baluster-shaped, decorated with stylized foliage, resting on a square base, date 1868, stamp 84 Minsk and goldsmith Pogorzelski, XIXth century.
These candlesticks are in good condition and are of a remarkable quality. The underside of the pedestals is plastered. Punch on the edge of the base and under the bobeches. Candlesticks bought in Estonia in the middle of the 20th century (Estonian hallmark 875 lion).
A note: punches a little worn (hard date to read, probably 1868), some small shocks and deformations on the bases and on the barrels, micro-scratches, dirt and wear of time, look at the photos (see red arrows) .
