Great pair of candlesticks candelabra forming five fires in brown patina bronze, representing two caryatiades or women draped in antique holding an amphora shoulder, topped herons and roaring lion heads, perhaps the work of sculptor Carrier-Belleuse, inlaid marble pedestals, Napoleon III nineteenth century.
These flares are of very high quality and finesse of execution. They are very decorative due to their large size.
A note: small accidents on marble (see red arrows), micro-chips on the marble, missing a sconce over a fire, slight wear of time, see photos.
