Cane with horse dealer system, for the measurement of horses (or cattle), pommel made of deer horn and brass, bamboo barrel, work of popular art, vintage late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
This cane is in good condition. The plastic ferrule of the tip is obviously posterior.
A note: a few small cracks on the bamboo, slight accidents, traces of repairs (glue) at the metal strapping of the barrel and between the horn and brass on the pommel (not visible), traces of oxidation on the measuring parts, scratches and wear of time, see photos.
