Old cane, wooden barrel (probably vine), pommel carved wooden dog head shape (a boxer), vintage late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
This rod is in good condition.
A note: may lack the dog's eyes, light gaps at the rule, some small cracks, scratches and wear of time, see pictures (red arrows).
