Knotted wool saddle bag or mat with geometric decoration, decorated with fringes on the sides, from the Middle East (Afghanistan-Turkestan), early 20th century.
This bag is in good condition. It was used by nomads to store their personal belongings during their journeys.
A note: some wear and losses on the fringes (especially at the bottom), wear and soiling of time on the wool, look at the photos.
