Pencil drawing representing a study of a standing naked man (called "academy"), by Romieu *, vintage late 19th century.

This drawing is in its original condition. It is not signed but comes from the artist's studio background (other drawings for sale are signed).

A note: central fold, tears and folds on the edges, stains and yellowing, take a good look at the photos.

* Léon Edouard Romieu (XIXth-XXth):

painter (Ec fr). Student of Brisset and Cabanel. He made his debut at the Salon of 1880. He painted allegories, mythological subjects and portraits. (Cf Bénézit)
