Very nice wash of a woman bullfighter signed H.Gray * vintage late nineteenth century.
This wash is in very good condition. A report: the paper is slightly yellowed.
Henry Gray * or Grivois (Henry), pseudonyms Boulanger, cartoonist, born in 1858. He worked in the manner of Alfred Grevin for newspapers Boulevardier, Boudoir, Masquerade. He later drew regularly on the first page of the Chronicle and was an associate of Paris Paris fun, Paris Illustrated, The Courier French. He was the favorite designer of the Folies Bergeres. He also made light work: menus, invitations, posters, sports, etc..
