* Abel Pfeffermann Pann (1883-1963): painter, pastel artist, lithographer and caricaturist in Palestine. Pupil of Bouguereau and Toulouse. He worked in Odessa, Vienna, Paris, and lived in Palestine during the war in Palestine. His major work is the illustration of the Bible, which appeared in Jerusalem in 1924 and 1926 and contains 500 engravings. The Museum of Jerusalem offers a series of 15 lithographs representing the misfortunes of the Russian Jew. (See Bénézit)
