This pastel is in good condition and its wooden frame. It is under glass. It is signed lower right. former label (collection?) back.

painter and watercolorist (Ec en). He was apprenticed to a decorator but feeling attracted to a pure art of expression, he made landscape with Damoye and became Roll student. He had meanwhile worked on several panoramas with Hareux. He started in 1883 at the Salon of French Artists. Associate of the National since 1895. He participated in the 1900 World Exposition (Cf Bénézit)
