Bronze clock with two patinas (black and gold) representing a Muscovy Amur playing the zither on a table, under a broad-leafed tree, enamelled dial with Roman numerals signed Thiéry in Paris, surrounded by small bees, pedestal decorated with a mascaron antique and palmettes, on base and under globe, period I Empire-Restoration around 1815 early nineteenth century.
This clock is in very good condition and is of an excptionnelle quality. She is under the globe. We have his key and his pendulum, the movement works. The cherub placed beside him his attributes (torch, laurel branch, and his bow) in order to play music.The sides of the clock are decorated with lyre.
A note: two small shocks and a small slit at the back (see red arrows), slight scratches on the gilding and patina, the veneer of the base is a little curled on the edge (not visible), wear of time, look at the pictures.
