Art Deco (illuminating) clock in silvered bronze with steps finely chiselled with stylized interlacing, dial with Arabic numerals, decorated in its center with a molded glass plate (mirror-bottom) representing a young woman holding a gruilande of flowers, signed Hettier & Vincent * France, vintage around 1925 twentieth century.
This clock is in good condition. The movement is signed F. Pelissier France. It works but may be subject to revision. The lighting system (which illuminated the plate from the inside) is missing. Signed on the edge of the glass plate.
A note: some traces of oxidation and dirt on the bronze, slight desergent especially in the bottom, wear on the dial figures, the mirror background is slightly past, wear and scratches of time, look at the photos.
House created in 1920 and located at 10 rue de Turenne in Paris. In 1929 Maison Hettier & Vincent opened a prestigious gallery in the Place des Vosges in Paris for a high-end Parisian clientele.
