Gilded bronze clock finely chiselled representing a shepherd dressed in the antique with his baton and his dog, reaching out to a young woman sitting on the dial, certainly the goddess Flore, base resting on four webbed legs, decorated with hunting scenes with dogs attacking a deer and hunting horns, XIXth century Restoration period.
This clock is in good condition and is very decorative. The enamelled dial with Roman numerals is signed Balthazar in Paris. The movement works. We have the pendulum and the key.
A note: some fouling (fouling) on the gilding, welding trace (very little visible) on a hind leg of the dog, two scratches on the bronze at the back of the base, scratches and wear of time, see photos.
