Directoire portico clock in white (and black) marble and finely chiseled gilt bronze ornamentation, decorated with two fluted columns surmounted by pine cones, above the dial (enamelled with Roman numerals) adorned with a vase of flowers, below the decorated dial vine branches surrounding a Wedgwood medallion, mascaron balance in the shape of a sun, from the late 18th century.
This clock is in good condition and is very decorative. It works, we have the pendulum but the key.
A note: the beaded frieze is glued to the base (and not nailed), some tiny micro-chips and scratches on the marble, wear of time, see photos.
