Empire clock in finely chiseled gilt bronze, representing a helmeted man (a Roman soldier in armour) holding a plate or shield with the inscription "Amour A La Plus Belle", next to two crowns, his spear resting behind, on the side a Athenian tripod; dial with Roman numerals decorated with friezes of flowers and shells, from the early 19th century.
This clock is in good condition. Great quality and finesse of carving. The movement works, we have the pendulum but not the key.
