Cartel Louis XV shape violonnée in Vernis Martin *, decorated with Chinese figures, pagodas, birds and flowers, ornaments and claw foot bronze gilt dial Nursson signed in Paris, Napoleon III period nineteenth century.
This cartel is in good condition. The movement works but will most certainemet to revise. It is signed and Planchon Paris "Silver Medal Vincent & Co. 1855". We have the key and pendulum.
A note: slight crack on the front (see black arrow), missing a small screw holding a needle, misses the back door, wear especially in the woman's head at the top, and small cracks use see pictures.
* In 1728, the Martin brothers of Paris are developing an imitation of lacquer based Copal, varnish Martin, intended to compete with Chinese lacquers and Japan. This varnish, cheaper for the decoration of furniture that the application of lacquer panels, also served to bring furniture with shapely importantly, lacquer panels that do not support being too rounded. The varnish Martin created the connection between the panels so that the cabinet is visually homogeneous. He had however his own existence by reproducing and performing works by painters of the time applied to furniture as a background. The Vernis Martin was also used in the nineteenth century style furniture.
