Watch stand finely chiseled gilt bronze, decorated with an angel playing a trumpet on top as well as flowers and foliage, punch in "Crowned C" *, Louis XV period eighteenth century.
This watch stand is in good condition.

Designed by Louis XV to be a hallmark of tax, the crowned C also became collectors for a quality mark and date: Used between 1745 and 1749 he appears to have been insculpté as the finest bronzes.
