Half coconut carved, decorated with the attributes of war: cannons, swords and sabers, drums, flags and banners, strapping money, working as a sailor or convict * of XIXth century.
This coconut is in good condition. The character's eyes are pearl.

* The coconut as the tagua was worked by sailors or also by convicts. The latter worked to pass the time but mainly to get some money to improve their lives. Can also be attributed to sailors during their long journeys. These objects are coconut or corozo fine examples of folk art.
