Rectangular Louis XVI rectangular coffee table in mahogany and mahogany veneer, opening to a belt drawer, finely chiseled gilded bronze ornaments and Wedgwood biscuit plates depicting old-fashioned figures, marble top of Montmeyan *, resting on 4 tapered legs with tablet, vintage around 1880 nineteenth century.
This table is in very good condition and is of high quality.
A note: traces of restorations on the wood in places (especially in the corners), some scratches and stains on the wood, micro-chips on the edge of marble, wear of time, see photos.
* Marble breach of Montmeyan, career in the Var (France) active in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Breach very heterogeneous formed of limestone elements clear.
