Superb small Louis XV commode inlaid curved rosewood, violet and lemon fillets, decorated with musical instruments (violin, guitar, trumpet), partitions and flowers inlay on the sides of a cube, splines trompe-l'oeil on the corners, gilt bronze ornaments, marble gray, originally from Italy or southern France, XVIIIth century.
This chest is in good condition, it will be restored. It is signed (difiicult to read) and dated 1766 in a drawer. The handles are perhaps not original.
