Exceptional chest Regency rosewood veneer, opening with six drawers separated by fluted cross dark golden brass fluted also rounded amounts and brass background, ornamentation and escutcheons gilded bronze finely chiseled decorated with shells and flowers, breccia marble top, antique eighteenth century.

This chest is in good condition, it is of high quality. It is mounted on pine. Locks work, we have a key. Marble is original. It was reviewed there twenty years.

A note: some accidents and lacks the veneer (see red arrows), traces of repairs on plating bronzes may be to clean some chips on the back of the marble, wear time, see pictures.

* Chest: convenient to the many drawers (up to 16) sometimes unequal heights, used to store clothes. Built on the same principle of bunk drawers, the weekly report includes only seven drawers, one for each day of the week. (Extract Larousse antiques and flea market).
