* Superb snuffbox corozo finely carved, decorated with a gallant scene with a couple chatting on the edge of a beautiful tree; on the other side a man courting a woman lying naked, working marine or convict, of XIXth century.
This snuff box is in good condition, it is high quality and sculpture finesse.

* Coconut like the ivory nut was worked by sailors or also by convicts. The latter worked to pass the time but mainly to get some money to improve their lives. Can also be attributed to sailors during their long journeys. These objects are coconut or corozo finest examples of folk art.
