Ball-shaped vase in opalescent patinated blown-molded white glass, decorated with fish, model n ° 934 "Formosa", signed R. Lalique *, vintage early 20th century.

This vase in very good condition. Signed on the bottom.

The model was created on August 7, 1924, appears in the catalog of 1928 and 1932, deleted from the catalog in 1937, not taken again after 1947. Bibliography: Félix Marcilhac, R. Lalique - Catalog raisonné of the work of glass, Les Éditions de the Amateur, Paris, 1994.

* René Jules Lalique (1860-1945)

is a French master glassmaker and jeweler, founder of Maison Lalique. He became famous for his amazing creations of jewelry, then perfume bottles, vases, candlesticks, clocks and, at the end of his life, car cabochons.
